Lumma is crafting an add-on lip spoiler with integrated fog lights, LED running lights, headlight trim, and a ton of carbon fiber bits for the Cayenne's front end. Its carbon-Kevlar hood will feature functional cooling vents and be raised slightly to cover the windshield wipers (reducing drag) around the cowl area. Down the sides you can see Lumma's signature extra-wide fenders covering 22- or 23-inch wheels, between which are special air-directing side skirts helping to cool the rear brakes. At the rear is the rest of Lumma's kit, which is a rear bumper, taillight trim, and a diffuser housing a very unique three-tipped exhaust. Above that, there's a carbon spoiler mid-hatch and another strip of carbon which somehow "provide additional power". Downforce, I understand, but can anyone explain how two lines of carbon fiber make power? If you're looking for real power to go with the looks, you'll have to contact the German folks over at Lumma Design. This kit is purely for show.
The new Cayenne is significantly prettier than the lumpy, first-generation model Porsche released upon us. Now it resembles a legitimate X5 competitor. Still, Lumma Design wants to take it a step further with its wide-body CLR 550 GT.For now, though, it's all just renderings.

TechArt Aero...Charges New Porsche 911 Turbo
Porsche isn't alone in offering retrofit goodies for its 911 sports car series. Following Stuttgart's announcement on the availability of new accessories for the 911, Porsche tuning specialist TechArt released details on a second aero package for the latest 911 Turbo.
The Aerodynamic Kit II is more aggressive than the first stage kit that was unveiled earlier this year. It includes a new front bumper with a lip spoiler and larger air-vents incorporating the firm's multifunctional daytime running light system which combines daytime running lamps, position light, parking light and direction indicators in one LED system unit and a common housing.
The kit also adds more prominent side skirts, a new rear apron with side air-vents and a large rear wing. The company notes that all components of the aero package are made from high-grade materials such as lightweight carbon fiber and hard-wearing polyurethane-RIM.
As with the Aerodynamic Kit I, the stage II package can be combined with TechArt's 'TA 097/T1' or 'TA 097/T2' performance upgrades that boost the 911 Turbo's output from the standard model's 500-horsepower to 570HP and 620HP respectively.
ENCO Exklusive Gladiator 700 GT Biturbo: A 700HP Porsche Cayenne Turbo
Even the name "ENCO Exclusive Gladiator 700 GT Biturbo" prepares you for something that's not going to score any points in the "taste" department. And true enough, the German tuner's Porsche Cayenne Turbo proposal gives another meaning to the term "lipstick on a pig" - dark red lipstick to be precise. You can see it everywhere; on the massive 23-inch alloy wheels that are shod in 315/25 R23 rubber, the two tone paintjob, the engine cover and even the carbon-fiber inserts and the roll cage in the interior.
But that's not all. The Gladiator also gets a full body armor kit with a restyled front bumper that incorporates a huge mouth-like grille and a lower apron, a new carbon fiber bonnet, wider side panels with air vents, side skirts, roof spoiler and a rear apron with an integrated diffuser that also houses a pair of tail pipes in the center.
Move on to the interior and aside from the dark red carbon trim elements and the roll cage you'll also find four bucket seats from the 911 GT RS with carbon backrests.
And you'll probably need those bucket seats as the tuning firm gave the stock Cayenne Turbo's V8 engine larger turbos, a sport exhaust system with manifolds and sport catalytic convertors.
Along with numerous other modifications the result is an output of 700 horsepower and 850 Nm or 627 lb-ft of torque, more than enough to propel the Gladiator from naught to 100km/h (62mph) in 4.5 seconds and on to a top speed of around 290 km/h or 180 mph.
The engine kit is complemented by a high-performance braking system with 410mm x 36mm brake disks and 12-piston callipers up front and 380mm x 32mm disks with 4-piston callipers at the rear while the tuner also fitted the Cayenne with an electronic suspension module that lowers the car by some 50mm.
No prices were released but we gather that money won't be an issue for those who find the Gladiator 700 GT Biturbo fascinating enough and at the same time are able to afford a Cayenne Turbo.

Emil Baddal Designs New Porsche Supercar Concept
These renderings of a Porsche-branded supercar concept come straight from the imagination of CGI designer, Emil Baddal. A few months ago, the Iranian artist published an array of design proposals for several sports cars including a BMW, a Ferrari (probably his best work up until now) and a Lamborghini. Baddal did not name the concept nor did he give out any details about the idea behind the creation of the Porsche project car which appears to be what we'd describe as a freestyle design exercise. Follow the break for the rest of the photos.

Infiniti, Porsche and Ferrari Offer Automotive Theme Packs for Windows 7
To be completely frank, when it comes to Windows, I'm a fan of less is more, but if you happen to disagree and want to give an automotive flavor to your desktop / laptop, Infiniti, Porsche and Ferrari have all teamed up with Microsoft to provide Window 7 users with special backgrounds, slide shows, screen savers and color customization as part of the new Windows 7 Desktop Theme Gallery.
Notably, this is the first time that Microsoft has made the packages available to partner companies. Aside from the three car brands, there's also a theme for Ducatti as well as other companies/ brands/ games such as Bing and Gears of War.
Windows 7 users can download from the theme pack from Microsoft's dedicated page
